These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (goldfilledscrap.com) and any related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). 1. About Our Service

GoldfilledScrap.com provides a quote and refining service for gold-filled scrap and related precious-metal material. You may submit photos of material you'd like to sell, and we will respond with an estimated purchase price based on the photos and information you provide.

2. Quotes Are Estimates Only

Any estimate, quote, or purchase price range we provide based on photos or descriptions is a non-binding preliminary estimate, not a final offer. Final purchase prices are determined only after we physically receive, inspect, weigh, and assay your material. The final price may be higher or lower than the initial estimate based on:

• The actual weight, condition, and composition of the material upon inspection.
• Current precious-metal spot prices at the time of evaluation.
• The presence of non-gold-filled material, debris, or non-precious components.
• Any other factors that materially affect the value of the lot.

We are not obligated to purchase any material until a final offer has been made by us and accepted by you in writing.

3. Submitting Material

By submitting material to us, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
• You are the lawful owner of the material, or you have the legal authority of the owner to sell it.
• The material is not stolen, encumbered, or otherwise subject to any third-party claim.
• You will accurately disclose any known information about the material to us.

We reserve the right to verify ownership, request identification, and report suspected stolen property to law enforcement as required by law.

4. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Unless we expressly agree in writing to provide a prepaid, insured shipping label, you are responsible for safely shipping your material to us at your own risk and expense. We strongly recommend using an insured, trackable carrier service. We are not responsible for material that is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit before it is received and acknowledged by us in writing.

5. Final Offer and Payment

After we physically inspect and assay your material, we will send you a final offer. You may accept or decline the final offer. If you accept, we will issue payment in the form mutually agreed upon (such as a mailed check). If you decline, you may request that we return your material at your expense, provided the request is made within seven (7) days of our final offer.

6. Returns and Unclaimed Material

If you do not respond to our final offer or return request within thirty (30) days, we reserve the right to consider the material abandoned. Return shipping is at your expense unless otherwise agreed.

7. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse any submission or transaction at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where we suspect material is misrepresented, of unknown origin, or unlawful to purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of GoldfilledScrap.com or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of this website without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The website and Service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction located in New York.
